Many have the dream to race, but few are lucky enough to live the dream (that includes me!).  There is a way to get close to the experience without having to foot the bills.  Track days.  Two Parade (?) laps of La Sarthe have whetted my appetite.  The French have a funny idea about parade laps. After a long wait we were waved out onto the curcuit with no pace car, off you go, no limits, your responsibility, you crash - you explain it to the wife! 

Now there's Nurburg, UK trackdays, the Isle of Man...

It's more than a year now since ''Frankenstein's Trumpet'' came to life again.  It now has the kind of power that Standard Triumph never made available to the general public in the Small Car chassis.  A great deal of development has gone on, a great deal is yet to be done.  The engine and PI system have had to be rebuilt, the suspension now needs attention as the spring and damper rates are too soft.
