I am in the process of developing the Supersix (now mostly a matter of tuning the suspension) and have started a new build of a Spitfire Streamliner, the Speedsix, in an attempt to better the top speed of the Supersix at about 120mph. The target of 155mph has been set, quite arbitarily and progress will be followed here.
The secret to 155mph will be in a high power at high rpm 2.5PI Triumph six, coupled with an o/d bigsaloon gearbox, low frontal area (10 square feet) and a low Cd (0.4 or less) and running on concrete or tarmac. Words of encouragement are eagerly sought, as are donations of parts, time money, tea and buns.
